3.2 Federated search engines – TRIP database

Metasearch engines like TRIP Database, are search engines for evidence-based health information. It allows search for literature in different databases through a single website.

The results are also sorted and classified by date or relevance to facilitate the identification of potentially useful information from the results displayed on screen.

The main advantage is that metasearch engines markedly expand the scope of the searches you perform, providing results with much less investment of time.

TRIP Database Excellence main screen shows a simple search box, similar to the Google search box. To start searching just enter your search terms and click on the "Search" button or click Enter.
