List some behaviors of the sand fly that can be used as potential intervention points for prevention of VL.

Sandfly characters	Prevention strategy
does not fly far from the breeding site	not travelling to endemic area
does not fly during windy weather	putting ventilators on in bed rooms during the night
has very short mouth parts	wearing clothes that can cover the whole body parts
require high humidity (70-100%) and temperature of 23-28˚C	avoiding the typical seasons of high transmission
